In Level 3, swimmers continue refining their freestyle technique while being introduced to a new stroke: backstroke. Building on the body positioning and coordination developed in Level 2, swimmers learn how to apply those same principles while swimming on their backs.
Swimmers will work on:
- Consistent back kicking while maintaining a straight body line and stable head positio
- Hip and shoulder rotation to support efficient movement
- Proper arm positioning and backstroke catch and pull
- Bringing all components together while swimming in the lane
This level focuses on strengthening technique, coordination, and endurance while expanding stroke development.
All classes are taught by certified swim instructors and are open to swimmers of all abilities.
